"This was created while listening to Dorthy Scott playing at The Pearl Of Door County concert. I let my mind flow and this is the result. I love water and it seems to always appear in my art. I would love to be on the island just enjoying the day.

I used water-based oil paints which are the same as oils but Clean with soap and water. I often use the pallet knife and glazing techniques to create more depth. I often use a complimentary color for the initial background to add more life/color into the painting. Everything I do leads me to another idea to try. I consider it constantly growing and I love it." -Marcia Nickols
