Deb Mohrbacher

My name is Deb Mohrbacher. I was born in Racine Wisconsin,and I’ve been making art since I could crawl to a wall and scribble on it.

I earned a bachelor’s in art in 2000 and a teacher certification in art in 2008. I taught K-12 art for 3 years then decided to re-locate to Door County, where art flourishes.

I am a mixed media artist. My art centers around color. I constantly switch mediums and subject matter, but color vibrancy is the common denominator. I enjoy playing with color as it is symbolic and can evoke moods, emotions and even memories in people. There is a reason when a specific piece of art calls to you. I mostly prefer positive uplifting color combinations because it is so satisfying for me. I hope you enjoy it just as much.
