Sierrah Wasie
Sierrah Wasie grew up along the shores of Lake Superior in Upper Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. In 2019 she moved to Sturgeon Bay, trading one peninsula for another.
Ever since she was small Sierrah has loved to create. She studied art briefly in college but for the most part she is self-taught. She works with a variety of mediums including colored pencil, graphite, acrylic, and gouache.
Sierrah describes her art as a transcendental meditation on the safety, inspiration, solace and strength of nature. Each work is a kaleidoscopic celebration of the natural world, color, light, and the divine feminine.
