When we first moved to Door County in 2000, there were a few Pelicans around, but not many. Over the years they have increased and are at most of the bays and beaches. They are often sitting in groups and many of the little islands and rock piles in the water. When I did boar tour's we had the most fun watching them catch fish or sitting in groups in the water.
Toft's point in baileys Harbor is a great hike and you never know what you will see.
