“I have spent 35 years in my day job as a Social Worker, providing service to others. Going to the workshop is “My Turn.” Working at the lathe, carving or coloring a piece is my favorite selfcare and how I recharge my batteries. Wood is my favorite medium. Its natural beauty comes from God, I just try and find it. Often, I have pieces of wood on my shelf for years before they tell me what to make out of them. I hope you enjoy the experience of seeing and touching them as much as I did making them.” - Joe
