Cave Point has so many places to sit and watch the water flow. Sometimes I get really gutsy and climb into places that are quiet only to find the action of nature and Door County right in front of me. Spirit is one of the many fishing boats in the Door.

I used water-based oil paints which are the same as oils but Clean with soap and water. I often use the pallet knife and glazing techniques to create more depth. I often use a complimentary color for the initial background to add more life/color into the painting. Everything I do leads me to another idea to try. I consider it constantly growing and I love it." -Marcia Nickols
