Soapstone hearts are crafted entirely by hand by artisans in rural Western Kenya from a village called Tabaka. Using skills passed down through generations, these artisans quarry, carve, dye, etch, and finish each heart by hand, creating truly one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate human artistry and connection. This assortment includes 24 vibrant soapstone hearts featuring a variety of colors and patterns unique to GEO's collaboration with the artisans - from bold reds and deep blues to cheerful pinks, greens, and yellows.
