Yin + Mimosas: Mimosasana Sunday SEPTEMBER
This outward spring and garden are a reflection of the inward garden.
Mimosasana is an event for Sunday morning - a time for inward reflection and peace, followed by gathering and mimosas.
WHEN: September 22nd 10-11:30a
WHERE: The Pearl of Door County
FACILITATED BY: Christine Zimonick
Take time this Fall Season to renew as you unplug, unwind, recline and relax into bliss. Pause long enough to practice Self Love.
Calm your thoughts, settle your body and find a softer focus to nurture you as the earth begins her rebirth. Open, heal, and nourish the Body, Mind, and Spirit.
This deeply relaxing, salutary session will begin with a meditative, supported yin yoga practice and the soothing sounds and vibrations of Tibetan Sound Massage bowls evoking a deep-seated sense of peace and well-being, flowing into a healing Gong Bath to seal your practice and focus your energy.
This 90-minute event is sure to refresh and invigorate you physically, mentally and energetically.
The gong is a sacred and ancient instrument of deep healing, rejuvenation, and transformation. On a basic level, the gong relaxes tension and blocks in the body, stimulating the glandular and nervous systems into higher, more balanced functioning. By increasing prana, your vital life force, it works deeply on the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
According to Don Conreaux, “The secret of the gong is its tremendous potential for healing and rejuvenation. Because the gong covers the full spectrum of sound, it vibrates all the cells and bones and organs, some more than others, depending upon the pitch of the gong. You feel an influx of energy coming from it in your body as well as hear it."
Relax into bliss as we will conclude with Prasad and Mimosas for those over 21.
Class size is limited, so please reserve your spot.
No previous yoga experience is necessary. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Appropriate for all ages and levels of physical fitness. Please bring your own yoga mat if you’d like.
